A 26-year-old man was arrested today for allegedly raping a 25-year-old woman on pretext of marrying her.
The accused has been identified as Ravi, a resident of Kotise Khan village of the district, police said.
According to the complaint filed by the woman yesterday, the accused took her to various places and raped her.
A medical examination was conducted on the woman and the accused has been sent to judicial custody by a court, police said.
