A man was sentenced to life imprisonment by a local court here for kidnapping and raping a minor girl.
In August 2010, the 15-year-old victim was kidnapped and raped by Sakti Kasudhan in Pipra Parsauni village, prosecution sources said here.
She was rescued after three days of captivity and her medical examination confirmed rape, police said
District and Sessions Judge Umesh Chander Pandey held Kasudhan guilty here yesterday.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 35,000 on the accused.
