Man sentenced to 10 yrs RI for smuggling narcotics
A narcotics smuggler was sentenced to 10 years rigorous imprisonment by a local court here.
Additional Sessions Judge Umesh Kumar Singh sentenced Ram Niwas Sonkar yesterday and also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on him.
Sonkar was arrested by the police on August 23, 2007 near Nepal border with 3-kg Charas.
