Man sentenced to life imprisonment for killing daughter & her
A district court has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for killing his daughter and her lover.
Additional Session Judge and Special Judge SC/ST BK Singh yesterday sentenced Raj Kumar to life imprisonment and also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on him.
The court had convicted Singh on December 19 and yesterday awarded the quantum of sentence.
According to prosecution Kumar had killed his daughter Varsha (17) and Gulab Ahmad (26).
Police had arrested accused Raj Kumar on July 26, 2014 and had filed charge sheet under IPC section 302 against Raj Kumar on March 2,2015.
