Manipur Assembly condoles demise of Sangma

Manipur Legislative Assembly today observed two-minute silence to condole the demise of P A Sangma, former Speaker of the Lok Sabha.

Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh remarked the demise of the 68-year-old was a great loss for the entire nation and the North East region as well, said a press note issued by Manipur Legislative Assembly.

Speaker Th Lokeshwor moved the condolence resolution from the chair in the House.
