'Mean Girls' director Mark Waters to helm comedy '#Catfight'

'Mean Girls' helmer Mark Waters is set to direct '#Catfight', an Amelie Gillette-scripted comedy.

The film is about Lucy, an insecure high school girl with a single mother, who earns a scholarship to an elite private high school for her senior year and attempts to reinvent herself by hiding a past she wants to put behind her, reported Deadline.

Will Gluck will produce the movie through his Olive Bridge Entertainment banner, with Brian Gatewood and Alex Tanaka.
