Meira Kumar condoles BJP MP Murarilal Singh's death

Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar today condoled the death of BJP MP from Chhattisgarh's Sarguja constituency, Murarilal Singh.

"I am pained to learn about the sad demise of Murarilal Singh.

"An experienced leader with a deep commitment to the welfare of the people, Singh always worked for the upliftment of the people," Kumar said extending her heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members of Singh.

Singh, 62, passed away today at a private hospital following a brain stroke.

Murarilal was admitted to the hospital five days back after he suffered a heart attack.
