Continuing its network expansion drive and focus on tapping the potential of Tier II and III cities,the country's largest luxury car maker Mercedes Benz inaugurated a state-of-the-art showroom here today.
This is Mercedes-Benz's 93rd outlet across India and the eighth in Kerala.
Roland Folger, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India and S Sivakumar, Managing Director, Rajasree Motors inaugurated the showroom.
Speaking on the occasion, Folger said India isone of the key emerging markets globally for Mercedes-Benz and that emerging Tier II markets like Thiruvananthapuram were going to play a significant role in the company's future growth story.
Kerala remains an important market for Mercedes-Benz India as there is a burgeoning demand for luxury cars in this region, he said.
"We are looking at strategically expanding in Kerala by offering such world-class luxury dealerships, unique luxury elements, the best of products and exceptional after sales service', he said.
Rajasree Motors, Thiruvananthapuram, is spread across a cumulative area of 9,000 square feet and has been built at an investment of Rs three crore.
