Mercer India today announced that it has appointed Anish Sarkar as Country Leader for their Consulting Business.
Sarkar joins Mercer from Capgemini Group, where he was the Senior Vice President and Head of Consulting for India, Mercer said in a release here.
He will focus on driving a number of strategic growth initiatives to broaden the service and solution offerings beyond the compensation space with a strong focus on retirement benefits and investments offerings delivered by Mercer, it said.
"The current economic and business environment in India is very promising. This appointment signals the continuation of our strategy of focusing carefully on areas where Mercer wishes to invest in India," Mercer Market Leader - India, Middle East, Turkey and Africa (IMETA) - Cameron Hannah said.
