A day after heavy rains lashed the two states, minimum temperatures hovered close to normal levels at most places in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh today.
Chandigarh, which received heavy downpour throughout the day yesterday, recorded a minimum of 12.4 degree Celsius, two notches above normal.
However, bright sunshine greeted Chandigarh residents today.

Hisar registered a low of 9.5 degree Celsius.
In Punjab, Patiala recorded a low of 10.6 degree Celsius, up one notch while Amritsar's low settled at 9.3 degree Celsius.
Ludhiana, however, had a cold night at 8 degree Celsius, down one notch, a MeT report said.
