Mercury level soars in T'gana; Hyderabad temperature touches

Mercury level is on the rise in Telangana with most districts experiencing over 40 degree Celsius temperature Sunday.
According to Meteorological Department,Adilabad recorded the highest temperature with 42.3 degree Celsius followed by Nizamabad, which registered 42.1 even as the temperature in the capital city recorded a maximum of 40.9 degree Celsius.
Adilabad Saturday had recorded highest temperature of 42.3 degree Celsius while Hyderabad experienced 40.2 degree Celsius.
The Met department forecast that light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at isolated places over the state and the maximum temperature would remain above normal by 2 to 4 degree Celsius at a few places Sunday and Monday.
The department also warned of very likely occurence of thunderstorm accompanied by gusty winds and lightning at isolated places in a few districts Sunday and Monday.
