Miley Cyrus announces release date of new album

Pop star Miley Cyrus has revealed that her new album 'Bangerz' will release on October 8.

The 20-year-old 'Can't be Tamed' hitmaker took to micro-blogging site Twitter to announce the date, reported Ace Showbiz.

"'Bangerz' on October 8th," the former Diesney star tweeted.

The singer is assisted on her current work by Pharrell Williams, Mike WiLL Made It, Planet VI, Stacy Barthe, Da Internz and Sam Hook.

Her chart-topping single 'We Can't Stop' is expected to appear in Bangerz.

Cyrus is set to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards which takes place on August 25.
