Militant shot dead by unidentified gunmen

A militant was shot dead by unidentified gunmen at Saichang village in Senapati district, police said today.

The militant was a cadre of Kuki National Front (N) and was shot dead by unidentified gunmen at Saichang under Yairipok police station area yesterday.

The body have been sent to the Regional Instituted of Medical Science (RIMS) hospital for postmortem, sources added.
