Minor boy kidnapped from Haryana rescued in UP, 2 arrested

A 12-year-old boy who was reportedly abducted from Gurgaon in Haryana was rescued here today and two persons were arrested in this connection, with police saying that the crime was committed to get a land worth around Rs 2 crore belonging to the victim's family.

Sachin, who was reportedly kidnapped form Badsahpur police station area in Gurgaon yesterday was rescued form a car which was intercepted by police here, SP Atul Saxena said.

During interrogation, the two accused confessed that they committed the crime to get a land worth around Rs 2 crore belonging to the victim's family, he said.
 

The duo, who lived with the boy's family, kidnapped him with the help of another accomplice who is absconding, Saxena said, adding investigation is underway.
