A minor fire broke out today in an operation theatre of SMS government medical college here.
However, the fire caused by short circuit on an electric panel, was controlled in time and none injured, a spokesperson said.
The incident occurred in the OT of ENT department where operation of a patient was underway.
"A committee has been formed to probe the matter and it would submit its report to the hospital superintendent within 24 hours," the spokesperson said.
