A 19-year-old girl was allegedly gang raped by four persons at Bayda village under Udaygarh police station area here, police said today.
The incident took place last evening when Amar Singh (22) and three of his accomplices kidnapped the victim when she was returning with her uncle and aunt to Udva village, district Superintendent of Police Kumar Saurabh said.
The accused took the girl to an isolated place and gang-raped her, he said.
He said that on the complaint of the victim, police have booked the accused under relevant sections of IPC.
"We have identified all the accused and are going to zero in on them shortly," he added.
