A 13-year-old girl in Lisadi Gate area has conceived after alleged rape that took place about six months ago here, police said today.
According to the police spokesperson, she was raped by her neighbour Anish and the matter came to light after the minor complained of stomach pain. The accused had threatened her of dire consequences if she told others about the sexual assault.
Scared, the minor had refrained from narrating the incident to her family.
A case has been registered and investigation is underway.
