Minor rapes 3-yr-old girl in Haryana

A three-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 12-year-old boy, in SGM Nagar area here, following which a case has been registered against the accused, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday when the girl was playing on her terrace, police said.

Hearing the cries of the minor, she found the 12-year-old raping her daughter, they said, adding, the boy fled away from the spot after seeing the woman.

Following a complaint by victim's mother, a case has been registered under section 376 (rape) of IPC and efforts are on to detain the boy, he said.
