Mizoram Governor Vakkom Purushothaman has summoned the session of the Mizoram legislature from March 18, Assembly Secretariat officials today said.
The officials said that the detailed programme of the session would be chalked out by the meeting of the business advisory committee chaired by the Assembly Speaker Hiphei soon.
Though the coming session would be the budget session, the Planning Commission was yet to allocate the state plan outlay for 2014-15 and the state finance department did not know whether a regular budget would be presented by the Finance minister Lalsawta.

Lalsawta told PTI that as the Union Budget was likely to be delayed due to the coming Parliamentary polls, he may seek permission to present a regular budget based on the plan size of the current fiscal.
"Seeking vote-on-account for many months could jeopardize the budget spending," he said, adding the budget could be appropriated by presenting second supplementary demands after the allocation of the plan outlay by the Planning Commission.
