MLA's sons, brother accused of assaulting tahsildar

In his complaint, Tahsildar of Hoovinahadagali taluk M Neelappa alleged that the sons and brother of local BJP MLA Chandranayak had "physically assaulted him and also verbally abused him when he went to meet the MLA at his residence to discuss about the ensuing gram panchayat elections".

Neellappa in his complaint stated that during the course of his conversation with Nayak both of them entered into an argument regarding the announcement of dates for the elections, when Nayak's sons and brother intervened and physically assaulted him.

Investigations were on into the complaint, police said. PTI CORR BH VS
