Morgan Freeman not retiring from acting

Actor Morgan Freeman has denied reports that he is bidding adieu to acting, saying the news of his retirement is greatly exaggerated.

There were reports that Freeman is unwell due to chronic pain and is planning to quit acting to enjoy his golden years in peace, reported E!Online.

"To once again paraphrase Mark Twain, the news of my retirement is greatly exaggerated," the 76-year-old actor said in a statement.

"I have no intention of retiring now or any time in the next several decades," he added.
