Mortar shell recovered in Samba

A mortar shell was recovered and safely defused by the Border Security Force (BSF) in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, police officials said today.

On the basis of information provided by a farmer, BSF men recovered the mortar shell in Gallar border village of Samba district last night, they added.

The shell was later safely defused, they said.
