Moth and masoor prices firmed up by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on increased retailers demand against restricted arrivals from producing regions.
However, other pulses moved in a tight range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said increased demand against restricted arrivals from producing regions mainly led to rise in month and masoor prices.
In the national capital, moth moved up by Rs 100 to Rs 4,350-4,650 per quintal.
Masoor small and bold also went up by the same margin to Rs 4,300-4,550 and Rs 4,500-4,600 per quintal, respectively. Its dal local and best quality enquired higher by a similar margin to Rs 5,100-5,200 and Rs 5,150-5,250 per quintal, respectively.

Masoor small 4,300-4,550, bold 4,500-4,600, Dal Masoor local 5,100-5,200, best quality 5,150-5,250, Malka local 5,100-5,200, best 5,300-5,400, Moth 4,350-4,650, Arhar 3,900-4,200, Dal Arhar Dara 5,600-5,800.
