A 31-year-old man was
admitted to a private hospital At Thondi near here with swollen face after he was stung by a hornet which had entered into his helmet.
According to doctors, Ravichandran, had put on the helmet without noticing the hornet in it and was riding his two wheeler from Thiruvetriyur to Thondi.
The hornet stung him repeatedly forcing him to stop the two wheeler to remove the helmet due to extreme pain.
The hornet was found crawling inside the helmet. His face was swollen and he got himself admitted to a private hospital for allergic itching and swelling.
