Mount Abu coldest at 4.4 degree C

Mount Abu was the coldest place in the desert state of Rajasthan with a minimum temperature of 4.4 degrees Celsius, a MeT official said.
With northerly cold winds blowing over the entire state, Churu recorded a minimum of 7.7 degrees C followed by Ganganagar at 8.3 deg C.
Pilani and pink city Jaipur recorded a low of 9.5 and 11.0 degree Celsius respectively.
Night temperatures would further fall in the state during the weekend, the MeT forecast said.
