MP Minister files FIR against suspected 'sorcerer'

Madhya Pradesh Labour and Minority Welfare minister Antar Singh Arya has filed a FIR against a man who he claimed was planning to kill him through sorcery, police said today.

Arya got the FIR registered yesterday against one Dilip Singh, who is the son of Khaperkheda village sarpanch Ram Singh, a Congress worker.

Earlier, the minister also handed over to the police a CD which showed a conversation between Dilip and a BJP worker Tarachand.

Dilip reportedly offered a "supari" of Rs two lakh to Tarachand to get the minister killed through black magic spells.

No arrest has been made in the matter so far, police said adding further investigations are on.
