Refined soya oil prices moved down by 0.35 per cent to Rs 699.40 per ten kg in futures trade today as speculators reduced exposure amid easing demand in the spot markets against adequate stocks position.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in November declined by Rs 2.45, or 0.35 per cent to Rs 699.40 per 10 kg with an open interest of 26,490 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in far-month December contracts shed Rs 1.20, or 0.17 per cent to Rs 709.40 per 10 kg in 36,830 lots.
Market analysts said offloading of positions by traders due to low demand at the spot market against ample stocks position on increased supplies from producing belts weighed on refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
