My wife's incredible partner: Joel Madden

Musician Joel Madden has praised wife Nicole Richie for supporting him while he recovered from the torments of his childhood.

The 37-year-old lead vocalist of American band The Good Charlotte has been through a tough childhood as his father left him and his brother at a very early age, reported Contactmusic.

"When you grow up in a broken home, there's something about finally finding love and security in your family. We're grateful for our families and the love we have in our lives. I give my wife a lot of credit. She's an incredible partner and really supportive," he said.
