Myanmar national killed, 4 injured in blast in shop

A Myanmar national was today killed and four others, including three children, were injured in a blast in a shop here, police said.

The blast in the shop in Sonu Kabadi in Deeli belt probably occurred due to old explosive material, a condenser or a gas cylinder lying in the shop, a senior police official said.

A Myanmar national Saifullah, who was a labourer, died in the blast, while the injured woman and three children have been shifted to GMC hospital, he said.

A bomb disposal squad was rushed to the spot to carry out sanitisation operations.
