Search operations have failed to solve the mystery over the missing six-year-old girl C Sai Lavanya Aditi, official sources said here today.
Police inspector K Kantha Rao, who is leading the special team investigating angles other than drowning said that there is no concrete clue about what happened since close circuit television (CCTV) camera footage from an ATM counter, opposite to the spot of the incident showed the girl going to the tuition class at around 4 pm.
However, due to power shutdown after heavy rain on the day of the incident, the CCTV footage is not clear, the police official said.

The class-I student had gone missing from H B Colony area in the city after being allegedly swept away in an overflowing storm water drain on Thursday evening at around 6 pm.
Meanwhile, after the missing girl's father C Srinivas and his family members met AP CM Chandrababu Naidu today, he instructed city police chief Amit Garg to probe all possible angles to locate her.
Speaking to reporters after meeting the AP CM, Srinivas said that Naidu has instructed Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation Chief Pravin Kumar, District Collector N Yuvraj and the city police chief to solve the mystery behind the mystery of the missing girl at the earliest.
