Railways today decided to asign the responsibility of Financial Commissioner (FC) to Additional Member (Finance) KB Nanda after the incumbent S Mookerjee demitted office.
Nanda, a senior Indian Railway Accounting Service officer, will look after the duties of the FC in addition to his present duties, according to railways.
Mookerjee, who has taken VRS, demitted the office on August 31.
