Dixie Chicks singer Natalie Maines has filed for divorce from her husband of 17 years, actor Adrian Pasdar.
The 42-year-old singer cited irreconcilable differences in her petition to end the marriage, reported TMZ.
Maines representative told People magazine that the split was "a private family matter".
Maines and Pasdar, 52, are parents to two sons, Jackson Slade and Beckett Finn.
The couple got married at A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas on June 24, 2000.
