Congress activists today protested against the Centre and BJP over the National Herald issue and alleged that the Centre was working with willful intention to defame party president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi.
State party president Sachin Pilot led the protest outside the collector's office building and addressed party workers.
"The party president and vice president have done nothing wrong but the government is targeting them after the defeat in Bihar Assembly elections. Congress is prepared to face any challenge," Pilot said.
Several hundred party workers participated in the protest.
