Naveen welcomes SC verdict on right to privacy

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today welcomed the Supreme Court judgement on the right to privacy.

"Welcome Hon'ble #SupremeCourt upholding #RightToPrivact as Fundamental Right," Patnaik tweeted.

He also described the ruling as a "huge step" for upholding individual freedom and civil liberty.

Earlier in the day, the Supreme Court in a landmark judgement declared that right to privacy is a fundamental right under the Constitution.
