A member of 'area security committee' of the Naxals who carried Rs two lakh reward on his head was arrested in a joint operation by the police and CRPF in the Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra, police said today.
Ramesh Dhanoram Netam (43) was arrested last week and after three days in the police custody was sent in judicial remand till March 26, said a release by Gadchiroli police.
He was a member of 'Tippagarh Dalam', police said. A rifle and explosives were also seized from him.
