NBFC employee robbed Rs 15.25 lakh, guard shot at

Miscreants shot at a security guard before looting Rs 15.25 lakh from an employee of a Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC) here today.

Four miscreants riding two bikes intercepted an NBFC employee and snatched away a bag containing the cash from from him while he was walking towards the nearby SBI branch to deposit the money, police officials said.

They also shot at a security guard, identified as Mukund, who was accompanying the NBFC employee. The injured security guard was admitted to the Sadar hospital, they said.
