NC workers to serve in quake-affected areas

The National Conference workers will carry out relief operations in quake-affected Chenab Valley over the next one month.

NC leader Mustafa Kamal said grassroot-level members of the party will reach out to the people in far-flung areas and try to mitigate their sufferings.

He said the government has already intensified relief measures, which will gain further momentum as soon as a resettlement package is sanctioned for the area.

The state government has already announced a Rs 25 crore relief package for the quake-victims.
