NDFB-S militant apprehended; arms, ammunition seized

An NDFB-Songbijit militant was today apprehended jointly by army and police team in lower Assam's Udalguri district, a Defence spokesman said.

Based on information provided by Army's Gajraj Intelligence, troops of the Red Horns Division along with Assam Police apprehended NDFB-S extremist Ranaush Tulciary alias Rogum, 20, from Asrabari, Udalguri during a joint operation, he said.

One Pistol and three live rounds of ammunition were seized from his possession, he added.
