A couple was allegedly shot dead by their neighbour over an old dispute at Ahirkhedi village in the district, police said today.
Lakhan Singh and Antar Singh often fought over the issue that who should remove water that accumulates in an open drain in front of their houses, they said.
"They also fought on the issue last night. While they exchanged heated arguments, Antar took out his licenced gun and opened fire", police said.
Two bullets hit Lakhan (35) and another struck his wife Manjubai (26) which resulted in their death, the said.
Police arrested Antar, his wife Krishnabai and their son Raja.
Police also seized Antar's licenced gun from the spot.
