Naresh Lalwani today took charge as the new Divisional Railway Manager of the Palakkad Division of Southern Railway.
He replaces Anand Prakash, who has completed his tenure, a railway release said today.
Prior to this assignment, Lalwani was Chief Engineer (Track Machines) in Central Railway, Mumbai.

Lalwani joined Indian Railways in 1987 after graduating in Civil Engineering 1985. He also did Executive Master of Business Administration from Indian Institute of Management, Indore, in 2010.
He had worked in North Frontier Railway, Western Railway, Central Railway and in Indian Railway Institute of Civil Engineering (IRICEN), Pune.
During his tenure in IRICEN from 2008 to 2014,he served as Senior Professor, imparting in-depth and updated knowledge to Railway Officers, the release said.
Lalwani has specialized in the fields of Contracts and Arbitration, Safety and Management Development and also worked in Track Machine Organisation of the department, it said.
