New office timings in Jammu division from tomorrow

The Jammu and Kashmir government today ordered the change of the working hours of all the government officers and educational institutions in Jammu division.

"The new timing would be applicable from May 1," an official spokesman said.

He said that as per past practice the working hours in the Government Offices and educational institutions in the Jammu Division (Summer Zone) will be 8.00 am to 2.00 pm with effect from May 1.

"As regards the Winter Zone, the timing shall remain unchanged" he said.
