TV host Nick Cannon has become a "selfless" father since he split from ex-wife Mariah Carey in 2014.
The 35-year-old American rapper believes he is a better father to four-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan since his split from the "Hero" hitmaker in August 2014 because he is able to give the kids his full attention, reported E! Online.
Speaking about co-parenting, he said, "[It's been] amazing. It has put everything in the proper perspective. I think co-parenting actually allows us to be better parents, because when it's that time, we don't think about ourselves at all.
"We are extremely selfless and make it all about the kids."
The "America's Got Talent" host said he is an overprotective father and is already concerned for his daughter's future romances, especially after she claimed she was married to one of her friends.
