A cab driver was found dead inside his taxi in the Sector 63 locality here today, police said.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajiv Kumar Singh said the deceased has been identified as Ajay.
It appears that Ajay was strangulated to death, he said, adding an old enmity or robbery may have led to the killing.
One of Ajay's
relatives has filed a complaint at the Noida Phase 3 police station.
The body has been sent for post-mortem and further investigation is on, the DSP said.
