Noted lyricist Vishweshwar Sharma dead

Noted lyricist and poet Pandit Vishweshwar Sharma passed away here after a prolonged illness.

The 88-year-old poet, who penned several songs, breathed his last at his residence in Bhattiani Chohatta area yesterday.

His mortal remains were consigned to flames today.

Famous for his song "Chal Sanyani Mandir Mein..." of the movie 'Sanyani' (1975), Sharma had also composed several songs for various movies.
