One arrested with five kgs of cannabis in Jammu

Police has arrested one person and recovered five kilogramme of cannabis from his possession in outskirts of Jammu city today.

During a naka, police intercepted one person and on search five kilogramme of cannabis was recovered from his possession at Bandu Rakh under the jurisdiction of police station Gangyal, a police officer said.

The consignment was recovered and the accused person was arrested, he said, adding a case has been registered under relevant section of law and further investigation of the case is going on to ascertain the source and destination of this consignment.
