One dies in lightning

One person was killed and

another suffered serious burns as lightning struck in Sakra village in the district here this morning, police said.

Lalta Prasad (60) died after being struck by lightning in the village under Machchlishahr Kotwali police station.

Nipu (22) who suffered serious burns has been admitted to the community health centre, police added.
