One dies in mishap in Punjab

A 21-year-old youth died today when a car collided with the motorcycle they were riding on in Sujanpur area here, police said.

The victim has been identified as Makhu, a student belonging to Lakhanpur in Jammu and Kashmir, they said.

The driver of the car fled from the spot, they said.

The body has been sent to local civil hospital for post-mortem, they said.

A case has been registered, they said adding that investigation is underway.
