One killed, 12 injured in road mishap in UP

One person was killed and 12 others injured when the matador they were travelling in hit a railing along the Yamuna Expressway near a toll plaza at Mat area here, police said today.

The mishap occurred after midnight when the matador heading towards Mainpuri from Delhi hit a railing along the Yamuna Expressway killing one Dhirendra, they said.

The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital where the condition of two were stated to be serious, police said, adding the body of the deceased has been sent for post mortem.
