One killed, 14 injured after lightning and rains

A person was killed and 14 others injured after lightning and rains struck Chodera village in the district today, a police official said.

The incident took place at around 3 pm when lightning and rains hit villagers grazing buffaloes, Sub Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP) Devendra Kushwaha told PTI.

One of them identified as Ramlakhan Kushwaha (32) died on the spot while 14 others who were injured have been admitted to the government hospital at Kailaras, he said.
