One killed, 2 injured as goods train hits tractor in AP

A labourer was killed and two others were injured after a tractor-trolley was hit by a goods train at an unmanned level crossing in Khammam district of Andhra Pradesh today.
The goods train hit the tractor-trolley at around 1 pm between Mellachervu and Revuru villages under Jaggaiahpeta junction, killing one on the spot, police said.
Two others who suffered injuries in the accident were shifted to a nearby hospital, they said.
A case has been registered against the train driver, an investigating officer of Government Railway Police said from Khammam.
